We adopted a min pin and needed a way to ensure she wouldn't be attacking the Christmas tree when we put it up. This is low enough that it's not an eyesore. The little gate allows us access to add and remove gifts under the tree. It's durable and sturdy. We used 5 panels but bought the 8 panel option so it was big enough for even a ginormous tree!!! Shipping caused a minor smooshing of the lock bolt with some paint loss, but it's barely noticeable and didn't change the function. Total success!!

Some iffs, yet still useful
Took 15-20 minutes to put together with my son, just putting the black pieces into the panel rings %26 sliding the rod through them. The only 2 issues I think others would have is not having a metal plate at the bottoms where the rod stops so it doesn't scratch up your flooring. %26 if you lift the whole front gate part it just comes right off the hing placement for it, so it's not at all attached to the gate frame itself, just.. hanging there. Overall tho I'm glad I got these on sale for $80 instead of $180! Just needed a simple pen for our 2 litters of week old puppies.

I would like to have received installation instructions specific to the "gate" portion of the fence. Otherwise it went beyond my actual expectation. It was the least expensive that I found online, quality is good, size is perfect (I needed more than the standard 8 panel, this was 16 panels), delivery in a timely fashion. The best part is that it keeps both of my puppies safe and secure.
