With only 5 calories per serving, this sauce adds a rich chocolaty flavor to your desserts without the extra calories in the regular chocolate syrup. Perfect for adding to hot cocoa or on top of ice cream, it gives a rich taste to whatever you put it on. Very reasonably priced and it lasts at least 4 months in the fridge, although it doesn't usually make it that far in our household! You can use it guilt-free when trying to cut calories in advance of swimsuit season or just to loose that few extra pounds most of us put on during the holidays. Good chocolate indulgence minus unhealthy sugars.

Actually if judging against any other versions of sugar free chocolate/fudge syrups, not that many other choices exist, this one captures a chocolaty mouth feel and taste which enables, especially if diabetic, to still enjoy pouring into milk, sliced apples or other healthy fruits where a layer of chocolate satisfies a mouth indulging experience, even if enjoyed with less frequency if your diet requires moderation.

My son has type one diabetes and loves chocolate syrup. I found this online and gave it a try. He loves it and I tried it before I gave it to him and it doesn't taste very different from the regular but the carbs do make a difference and I'm glad I found something that he can have that doesn't put him at risk for his sugar going super high. It is a little expensive so we probably won't buy it to frequently but as a treat occasionally.
