Would I recommend? I recommend that you go a size up. My niece is 9 weighing 107. She wears size 14 in jeans and shorts. Because I was spectacle about the sizing, I decided to go up. I was right! Size 16 fits her perfectly. On the other hand, the 18 plus was too snug on auntie's thighs, despite being loose in the waist. I am a 5'0, 43-year-old grown woman who weighs 150lbs. Although I am aware these will be loosely fitting, I decided to order some more in 20 plus. I couldn't pass up the clearance sale. Spring is just around the corner.
