You don't know how hard it is to find a simple checkered backpack that isn't $25- $35! So this one was heaven sent! It is a bit plasticy material but it looks durable. I carefully added some monster truck iron on patches (hoping to not burn a whole or melt it). I did melt a piece together but quickly separated them and didn't cause several visible damage. It turned out just as I had in mind and my toddler boy loved it!

I was looking to donate backpacks to kids in my community that were in need of school supplies and this backpack was of decent quality and great value which allowed me to purchase more than 20 from two local stores. As well as other schools supplies from Walmart!! Will purchase again next year!
