What a great machine

I like this machine more than I thought I would! I use this machine for quilting and all other sewing needs. Bought this as a back up for my White sewing machine but I get the feeling I will be using this machine far more. It sews very quietly and very smoothly. I love the feature of being able to control the speed the machine stitches at. Yes, it is pretty much made of plastic and I am used to the old machines that were made with all metal, but the quality of this machine is still pretty good. You cannot beat it for the price with the bonus table attachment and all the different presser feet you get with the machine. I say go ahead and buy it! I wish to thank everyone that takes the time to write product reviews. I purchased this machine because of the good reviews it received. This is the only protection we have from buying garbage!

This sewing machine has exceeded my expectations . It's very easy to use , and has a ton of wonderful stitches. Light weight but heavy enough to hold itself down. I did a lot of research before buying and I'm glad I did . I've been sewing for a couple years now and really needed to upgrade from my old brother as basic as you can get sewing machine. This one is wonderful and has opened up endless possibilitys. If this is possibly your choice I think you would be very happy, what a great buy and I love all the extras I got with my CS 6000i ! Definately worth the wait for site to store .

more than worth the price

I chose this machine because of my past experience with Brother machines (I have 2 1034d sergers that I LOVE), and the positive reviews. I love how easy this machine is to use, and how effortless it is to switch stitch patterns. I was surprised at how many accessories come with it. If I were to buy all those accessories for my old machine, I probably would have paid as much as the price of this machine, and still not been able to do what I can with this machine. While I'm a semi-experienced sewer, I tend to get intimidated by getting to know new machines. But this one was a breeze. I look forward to lots of projects with this machine.
