Assembly was simple. I organized the parts as it said in the instructions which made it go very smoothly. I would recommend being mechanically inclined but overall patience, plenty of space and reading the directions should be enough for most. I DO NOT recommend the app for video instructions. It's cumbersome and doesn't include the part letters. Also, there is a "trial and error" approach for the TV hanger. The instructions say to try various bolts until you get the right fit. if you're not careful you could damage your tv. They should include the bolt types, M6, M8 etc. Most TVs have that information on the back and it would limit the potential for error. It looks good and feels like a good quality product. The middle shelf is adjustable which is nice.

Assembly wasn't too bad. Though it didn't come with instructions (that I could find), I was able to download the instructions. What they don't tell you in the beginning is that you need to remove the top of the spine assembly and insert the stabilizer screw to make it a "table-top console" configuration. Would have made it so much easier to put together if that was in the FIRST part of the instructions. In total, for me, it took about two hours to get it fully assembled. (I also took my time making sure I had the right parts in the right place and double-checking things.) Once assembled, it complements the area nicely. It fit my 52" TV perfectly. (It fits literally edge to edge.) Great for consoles and knickknacks.

I felt it was a little expensive. However, it looks great and was perfect for my 55 inch TV. I honestly can't comment about the ease of putting it together. My son-in-law did it and he's an expert on things like this. I'm older and don't believe it would be easy for me.
