while you cant put anything tall on it. you can put burgers sausages or baked potatoes on it as they near the end off their cooking cycle so you have the entire bottom grate to cook other things, toast buns. etc , I should have gotten this a long longlong long time ago !!!!

Keep chicken parts from burning.
I use the rack to grill chicken parts, like legs, thighs, and breasts to keep them off of the flames that flare-up. The rack works great! I was worried that it wouldn't fit with the lid closed on my Weber Spirit grill, however it fits fine.
