Excellent Unit

This unit is exactly what I was looking for. Yes, it's pressboard with laminates. You're not going to get wood for anywhere near this price. The finish is great. Best laminate finish I've seen. The color was slightly darker than I expected. Assembly was time consuming but not difficult. The top of the unit didn't fit quite right....the vertical walls attached to the bottom already were not at the perfect spacing. A little bit of wiggling around got it in place. Instructions are clear and easy to follow. Parts are in labeled bags and would be very difficult to mix up. The box as shipped is HEAVY. It was also pretty beat up when I got it, but the packaging is well done....not a bit of damage to the parts. Very strong when complete. My 55" TV fits on it completely with an inch or two extra of the stand on each side.

I have always been hesitant on ordering furniture that comes un assembled, but the pieces were marked and the instructions were easy to understand. It took about 2 hours from start to finish and it looks beautiful in my freshly painted living. The storage space for DVD's is unreal, I have a large collection and I still have room for more. Happy customer.
