If you like to keep your hair a certain length and don't want the bother or expense of going to the shop every 2 or 3 weeks - try trimming your hair yourself. You get better with practice. This new set replaces one I've had about 20 yrs and is a lot more versatile.

We have a Golden Doodle and decided to try and groom him ourselves. Went with these clippers because of the gripping ability, and the price as well. They work great. I would post a picture of him, but as I write this review he is only 3/4 of the way done and looks like a homeless dog that someone got a hold of. Seems that for beginners and a large doodle, it's a 2 day process!
