Exceeded expectations

Highly recommend! I bought these last minute before a trip to Banff in Canada - as a first time hiker and I forgot to spray them (for dirt and water protection) before hand but they were surprisingly durable and comfortable! I wasn't expecting much for the price <$40 but I was very highly impressed. The one caveat is the sizing, I am always in between 7.5 and 8 and I ended up with an 8.5. I have a thin foot but with compression / wool socks it really helped. I think I tried to wear around the house while packing but they were great for a first time wear no blisters, sweating, stiffness.

Made for serious trail walkers!

Excellent quality for serious trail walkers. I'm a senior citizen, and they are great to walk on uneven ground. They are heavy, so be prepared to adjust to the weight. These sneakers are very waterproof and the bottom helps you grip when going uphill or down to avoid slipping. Gave a 4 for comfort since it takes awhile to adjust to them. I don't even notice the weight anymore, and they are comfortable now.

SIZE WAY UP. I am a seven to a seven and a half in a street shoe, seven and a half to an 8 in a runner, I sometimes order an eight and a half to wear fat socks. I ordered an eight in these and they fit ridiculously small. I returned them and got a nine. I like them very much. I can't speak to support because I always put Suestep or Atoker insoles in. I did just take them out for a walk in the snow and they are waterproof and they're pretty slip proof. For $40 and the level of my trail running these are perfect. I really don't need $150 Brooks magic trail shoes or whatever.
