I bought them on a whim becauseof the sale price. i opened the box and thought well, im probably going to return them... but i tried it on and wow, its a great fit, super comfortable and supportive. I often have issues with shoes. my feet hurt easily when wearing bad shoes. Its rare i find a shoe that fits, is comfortable and on trend. i wore them to the zoo yesterday, all day walking and my feet were warm, not hot or cold and never hurt! Even after walking all day.

Good brand of shoes for a good price

Used to wear Avia years ago and I'm glad to have found them again. I like the support, but the toe seems a little narrow. I'm taking out the stretchy laces and will replace w/ standard round shoe laces. I think this will fix the narrow feel- I can adjust the width at the toe end of the shoe easier and won't have the pull of elastic laces. Haven't worn these outside yet, but expect to like the shoes.
