Vise Grip VGP9LN 9 Inch Long Nose Locking Pliers

I love the feel of these pliers in my hand. The design has never changed.. no need to. They're a little slippery when they pop open, but they're still made the old fashioned way with the jaws welded to the handles not simply crimped on. I like the new (to me) tension release slot in the end of the screw.. you can lock them so tight I've had to pinch the lock release with pliers to make them let go. I just hope Irwin doesn't go the way of some OTHER name brands and sell their name to stamp on cheap tools that do more damage than good. Quality repairs require quality tools from a name you can depend on.. that don't cost a arm and a leg to get your hands on. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
