Worth adding to the menu, gluten free and vegan

Isadora refried beans pouch-packed are some of the best. Good flavor, consistent texture, and easy to open packaging. The black beans version is higher in protein and a good choice especially if you are vegan. Adds depth and flavor to your Mexican cuisine. Online ordering is economical and comes right to the door. These are vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free. Also reasonable in cholesterol and sodium. Un-dispensed paste can be stored for a few days in the refrigerator, fold top or corner over a few times and clip shut. If you use potassium chloride on a sodium restricted diet, a moderate amount will blend into the flavor well.

Although I had never heard of this brand, I bought these instead of my usual Rosarita Refried Beans, mainly because they came in a microwaveable pouch. When I received them I was disappointed because I didn't realize they were black beans, not pinto beans, when I ordered them (my mistake). I tried them anyway and absolutely loved them! The flavor, the texture, and how super easy it is to heat them in microwave. I doubt I will go back to canned, refried pinto beans again... I hope Walmart continues to sell these as they are delicious and economical.
