great item. my cat still doesn't like to be brushed but this at least he is getting used to and I can brush him for like a minute or two. even in that small amount of time I'm getting so much furr off of him. so worth it. I do recommend. the slit in the wrist is for adjusting not a rip or a hole. for the price you get one for left hand and one for right. so you receive 2 all together. again it is worth it if you have a shedding cat in the summer like I do. my cat isn't that fluffy but this summer for some reason he's shedding more than ever. this does help get fur of and fast.
