My Go-To Protein Bar
Hey--10-year vegan here; this is my go-to protein bar! I was a fan of Brendan Brazier's before he started Vega, and I was happy to find these bars at Walmart. Sometimes I'll eat half of one before working out or as a small meal after weight training. With 20 grams of protein per bar (and 300 kcal total), this is a great option for vegans who want to reach their macro goals. I can't speak to the other flavors of the Vega bars or the protein powder, but I will continue to purchase these.

JUST TRIED IT AND LOVED THEM SO MUCH!!
I am not much of a protein bar person, so when I attended the Nike Vega event I was given 2 of these bars in my swag bag. Figuring I would never eat them, I put them in my fridge and forgot about it. The other day I was so busy and no time to eat, so I grabbed the bar and thought "Why Not" - I LOVED it so much I just ordered a box of both flavors. The chocolate peanut butter made me feel like I was eating a true treat, and the mint crunch made me fill like I was eating a thin mint Girl Scout cookie. I saw a lot of negative reviews, and I honestly don't get it. I think they are awesome!! Thanks Vega!
