I love this item because it's cleverly designed to hold a full cake or cookies and the dome fits perfectly onto the wood plate which has grove to hold the dome cover perfectly. Its size holds a full round double layer cake. I also love that the wood plate can be used to hold appetizers. The only thing I wish is the glass dome was heavier, oh well, it serves many purposes which is great. Highly would recommend.

This is a great product! We have used it as both a cake stand for a lovely bundt cake and used it as a Charcuterie and cheese board. The glass dome is very light but sturdy. I read it was glass but when arrived it was so light, i tapped it and it chimed like glass does. My only surprise was that the center element ( stand part for the cake stand) is not removable, which makes sense, but for some reason I expected it to be separate, but it isn't. My entire family loves the look, the use of use and cleaning. And on top of that it's really attractive and fits well on my counter, my table and looks great with my decor.
