These are about the size of a dime inside and they are quite rubbery but sturdy material. These are great for use on screw ends to prevent damage to other surfaces. If they are used on end cap screws they prevent you from getting scraped on end screws. There are 50 caps per package so these will last for a while.

Upon receiving these caps, I realized they were too big for what I needed them for however, they work well on the proper size screw. We had a vinyl fence installed. There were exposed screws on the inside of the fence. I used the caps on the exposed side of the screws. They didn't fit however, I super glued the caps onto the screws and fortunately they did work. I received a bag of 50 caps so there are plenty for future use. My husband is always doing a new project around the house so I see no issue with using them. I recently put together a play table for my grand daughter. There were exposed screws on the underside of the table and just so happen the caps are the same size of the screws. So I was very happy to find a screw that I could really use caps. I will feel much better about my grand daughter playing at the table with no worry of her possibly getting scrapped on her skin by the exposed screw. The caps can be used for several different items. I was looking for something just like these about a year ago to place the racks inside of my standup freezer. I couldn't find them anywhere so I had to get creative. Now that I have these I will see if they fit on the racks. I have even used them on some of my crafts that had exposed screws. I have been looking around my home to see if there other exposed screws or any other place I can use the caps. I will save the remaining caps for future us as I know I will likely have a need to use them again.
