BLACK+DECKER 20-Volt MAX* Lithium-Ion Cordless Drill, LD120CWM

I have been doing woodworking for over 60 years. I remember the days when drilling was done by hand tools. In later years you had to unroll your extension cords to drill a hole. Then came the battery drills. These were 9 volts or less, with little power and needed recharging in a short time. Now Black and Decker has a 20 Volt Max Cordless Drill that has a Lithium battery back that has all the power you would ever want. The torque is as good or better than most electric drills. The battery will last many hours of usages and doesn't get weaker as you use it. The size is great as well it is not big and bulky like others I have had. It is just right and fits well in your hand and not too heavy to handle. The Black and Decker 20 V max Cordless Drill number LD120 comes with a Lithium battery as well as a charger and a bit storage slot with a Philips and Regular screwdriver bit included. It has a trigger switch for forward and reverse. The Keyless chuck is standard and it has torque control as well. The Instruction manual is good and easy to understand. Always follow the safety warnings as with any power tool. The one recommendation I would suggest to the buyer of the Black and Decker 20 V cordless drill is fully charge your battery pack before using. Store you drill and battery pack in temperatures above 60 degrees for best use. This drill comes with a limited two year warranty. I would recommend this tool to anyone. It is great for the week-end handyman or woman. You might have to buy two so your wife will have her own.

I got the BLACK+DECKER™ LD120CWM 20V Lithium Cordless Drill/Driver. This Drill/Driver has 20V of power that can hold a charge for up to 18 months! It uses a lithium battery and weighs about 3.75 pounds. After being assembled, the dimensions of the assembled product is: 8.5” L x 3.75” W x 7” H. One of my biggest problems with Drills/Drivers is the weight. When the tool is too heavy, you don't have full control because it is just too heavy for you to lift and hold, causing you to either not be able to drill into the material or you drill in at an angle. From several different brands and models of drills I have tried, this is one of the lighter ones. At this amount of weight, it really helps me control the drill much better. I also love the cordless feature. You don't have to constantly hunt down an outlet and you can carry it anywhere with you. The 20V rechargeable lithium battery is advertised to hold charge for up to 18 months! I really like that I won't have to charge it up every time I pull it out from the closet to use, definitely has an excellent battery life. Overall, this tool is lighter than other ones I have tried, has lots of power to get your projects done, charges quickly, and is able to hold a charge for a log time. Great Product!
