I gave this robe to one of my sons for Christmas. He loved it. He likes the look and feel of the robe. His girlfriend liked the robe so much that she said that she would be wearing it also. I had already given her another robe!

Let me start off by saying that I was born into a female body and this is a Men's robe. Sp, I do notice it riding up on my stomach or opening at the hips when I'm engaged in activities like doing dishes or moving around the house. I also found that the tie easily comes undone with movement because it is kind of slippery, but this may change once I wash it. To prevent the tie from slipping, I tied it in a bow. Now that I've been sitting a while, I can see the tie has slipped down off my large belly and the chest part is open. So.. if you're concerned about slippage, this is not the bathrobe for you. Here is why I gave it a 5-star rating: 1) It's gorgeous! The deep blue makes it look so luxurious. 2) I'm neurodivergent and sensitive to textures and weights. This robe is made of that really soft microfiber/velour material I cam to love in the early 90s, and I can't stop touching it. There is no liner, so what you feel on the out side of your body is exactly what you feel on your skin. It's soooo soft and luxurious feeling. 3)) I had a very heavy hooded robe before and while it's great in Winter, I couldn't really wear it on chilly Spring mornings so I decided to get something lighter weight. This robe is so light that I don't even know I'm wearing it, except for the constant warmth that reminds me it's there. So, it's really thin and light weight, mission accomplished! 4) The sleeves are perfect for my arms. I'm 5'6. So if you're a short male, this will absolutely work for you (or nonbinary, or female)... it will work. you don't have to worry about the sleeves being 4 inches too long. Tallerr people, this might not be the best option. Actaully, when I put my arms down, the sleeves do go to mid palm but as I'm sitting here typing or doing dishes, they do not get in the way. 5) The two side pockets are large and can easily accommodate your smart phone 6) Warmth. It is currently 68 degrees in my apartment and this robe is keeping me warm. When I was drinking coffee and moving around earlier, I got too warm and had to take it off for a few minutes, but I've had it on now for a couple hours without feeling too hot. So if you're post-menopausal, or menopausal, this robe can provide just the right level of warmth. 7) The hood. The hood is large enough that I can pull it down over my face, to my nose. However, it also stays in place on my head, wherever I put it. It too is lightweight and barely noticeable so this might be an awesome out of the shower robe too! In summary, the slipperiness of the material can make the tie slip if you have a big belly, but the features of the robe outweigh this inconvenience for me. This is everything I hoped it would be.
