I'm in a wheelchair, so in using the Trusty Pup Travel Backpack, I can hang the shoulder straps from the wheelchair handles right behind me. I pat the sides of the backpack to let my pet know that I'm here and can talk to my pet .

Very nicely constructed. My dog is exactly 16lbs. It just fit her in the length. She is a chiweenie! Kind of long!!! But it was perfect for the lane flight!

good alternative for RV
good overall for traveling; easy to carry in RV. cats aren't too keen about it as they have a hard time inside but both tolerate when they MUST get out of RV it gives them a little fresh air. One seems to like better than the other...depends on your cat. wish it had a sling to carry so it could go sideways as they scrunch up in back. but will use to eliminate carrying big plastic case on future trips so it's a space saver. they are getting used to it. both are about 12 pounds.
