They are very sturdy and the material feels very durable. I love how comfortable they feel. They aren't hard the material is very soft and easy to wear. I was worry about rubbing and getting blisters but it was not the case

I love the boots, great height an thickness an work very well working outside clearing weeds, vines, invasive weeds etc. The boots are well make an thick enough to hold up to machetes using to cut down thick trunks of some large plants.
