Thes bowls are solid and the lids fit well. Nicy texture on the exterior of the bowls, but the inside surface are smooth for easy cleaning. and they stack well. The lid colors would not be my first choice, but overall, I like the set. But please be sure you look at the sizes of the bowls before ordering as I did. I also have a larger set but I knew these were just a bit smaller before ordering. My only other suggestion would be to add "quart" sizes in the description as most other sets advertise their sizes by "quarts"
