The Best for Shrimp

Just the right amount of horseradish and hot sauce mix with outstanding flavors. It is creamy smooth with no little lumps of horseradish but with all the flavor. I first discovered it in a Calabash North Carolina Restaurant while on vacation. It is nearly impossible to find in any state north of there. I guess it is because they eat it all down there where the seafood is. The bottle says it is it is made in Winston-Salem NC. If you live in Ohio buy lots of it when you find it.

One of the best cocktail sauces

I have been looking for a good cocktail sauce since McCormick changed their recipe a few years ago. I happened to see this in the store and thought, "Why not, Texas Pete hot sauce is okay." Glad I did. It has a small kick of heat from the horseradish, not enough IMO, but enough to know it's there. It has a really nice flavor, and rather smooth, not chunky. It isn't "thick," it's a little more viscous than I like, but it isn't runny either, it sticks to the shrimp, and has a great flavor, which I guess are the important things. It is rather hard to find though, only one store out of the eleven Walmarts, six Publix's, and seven Krogers in my city has it.

Good but not great

Judging from t he other reviews, I was expecting something unique, spicy, and tasty. It is not a bad product however, I believe that the well known, giant condiment maker has a better product.
