Taylor 3817 Compact Digital Kitchen Scale

This is my second purchase of this item. The first one was perhaps 10 years old when, last week, I accidentally knocked it onto the floor from the top of my refrigerator, after which it did not work, so I ordered this replacement. I have a very small kitchen and the items I am weighing are no larger than a mixing bowl, usually a single dish, I use it every day, multiple times. Last year, twice I had the opportunity to experience that it travels very well also (very small size in a suitcase and very light). Selecting this scale remained my very best option when replacing the one I broke.
