Reading Improvement

My oldest son is Dyslexic, so when I decided to homeschool him, I started looking heavily into what he "knew" and what he "didn't". On recommendations from another homeschooling mom, I spent $9 on this product thinking, "not alot of $ out if we don't make any ground". To my amazement however, after just a few nights of watching this particular DVD, it all started to click in his mind! Not only did he finally understand the phonics rules (as opposed to mere rote memorization) he could apply them as well!!! We now own the complete series for our younger children as well. This has got to me the best 3-dementional learning video there is!!!

Fun with education

This my second copy of this DVD. My child loved it so much he tried to get it out of the case himself and broke the first one. We own almost all Leapfrog products. Also every DVD that is on the market. My child is in 1st grade and they are just learning about vowels and the teacher is wondering why he knows them already and why he sings the silent E song everytime they come to a word that has a silent E, because they haven't taught that to them yet. And since he has Autism it really puzzles them. I told them that we own all of the Leap frog DVDs. That I would be glad to loan them to the class. But the funny thing is that my children watch them so much I really hate to send them incase they keep them to long. They also love to play the games on the end of the DVD. I have one that is a VHS. I am thinking about getting it in DVD just for the game. I often direct people in the store to buy Leap frog products and tell them how good they are and which ones would be better for there child. And how they can grow with your child. People often mistake me for a Leap frog sales rep. But because my son has Autism I buy alot of education items. So I just know the product. It is a very wonderful product.
