The lid is very heavy and not much of handle to hold on to, very well made but again very heavy. If you have trouble grasping things you may want to choose a lighter butterdish.

It's super aesthetic and well made! Some cons- the lid is large and awkward to pick up, and kind of heavy! The tab on the top is also quite small and hard to grasp. I might deal with it for awhile but I know it'll be too annoying to not replace eventually. It's so pretty I'm sad

Difficult To Use
I now see why this item was at a reduced price. While it is extremely well made and nice looking, it is extremely heavy. The "handle" on the lid is so small that you cannot grasp onto it and must lift up the heavy top by its sides. Having a disability with my hands makes it very difficult.
