I read the book, sadly wasn't able to catch the movie recently when in theaters and was so happy to be able to purchase this DVD. The movie reflects the book as accurately as a movie can and I was captivated for a second time by William P. Young's in depth interpretation of God's love for humanity. I will not question whether it is a fully accurate interpretation of scripture and indeed, Young offers it as a fictional account, but I have always sensed that if it is a labor of love and a reflection of God's love, then it is about as well intentioned as it can be. Thank you Mr. Young for a heartfelt spiritual reflection of God's love together with a reasoned account of why tragedies happen as they do and some other surprises that are humanly reassuring. I highly recommend this movie to anyone who has an open mind and understands that it is a work of fiction reflecting love and therapeutic to those who are in need of comfort and insight during their period of grief.
