Mother nature has designed many unique trees for us to use when making your custom switch plates right here in the USA. We collect reclaimed trees from local forests for many of our plates. Because we try to maintain the character of these pieces there will surely be some variation in the surface and edges of the wood. Some of the unique character componants are saw marks, dents, age cracks, burn marks, worm holes, knots and bark variation. We try and reinforce any places where any discrepancy might weaken the wood so you will be able to enjoy these plates for years to come.
