I already had a crock pot twice this size, but I always hated using such a large Crock pot if I wasn't feeding a lot of people. I decided to purchase a smaller Crock pot. this one is almost identical to my previous crock pot. It has three settings, and the temperature remains extremely consistent. again, unless you are feeding a lot of people, it really isn't beneficial to get a larger size depending on what you are cooking. for things like queso dip, or a small roast it is sometimes much better in a smaller unit as it heats more evenly, and you don't have to fill it quite as high to cover whatever you are slow cooking. not sure if I just had a bad unit, but my larger crock pot seems to heat unevenly, and the lid seems slightly too small, but I am very impressed with the quality of this unit. It looks very elegant, and is extremely easy to clean.

My husband uses the large one but i use these two! I love them. Not to heavy for me to lift each pot filled with food and it is not to big and heavy for me. Just right size
