This tool worked great!

I had three hose bibs that I couldn't thread a hose on due to stucco/cement that was slopped on to it when our house was stuccoed. I had to make several attempts on one because the stucco/cement was so bad. I used WD-40 to help lubricate as I cut through the hard junk, and in the end the hose bib threads were almost like new. I also cleaned up some garden hose threads on a couple of garden hoses. I wish I had this tool a long time ago.

Magic tool

I have 2 outdoor faucets leaking no matter how tight the garden hose is. I added thread seal tape on the faucets, leak becomes smaller but doesn't disappear; I replaced tape by thread sealant paste, tightens the garden hose with a plumbing pliers, the leaking stops. After I used this thread cleaner tool to rebuild the faucet thread, no tape needed, no sealant paste needed, hand tighten the garden hose, no leakage anymore.

Back to two hoses.

Have two hoses and two spigots on the house. Old hose fits on both spigots, new hose fit on back yard spigot but not side of house spigot. Got the Superior tool thread cleaner, followed the easy grade school instructions, now the new hose fits perfectly. It did exactly what it was supposed to.
