This is hands down the best icing option I have ever found. I had knee replacement surgery 3 weeks ago, and I bet I've spent $200 trying to find an ice pack that works. Until I discovered this one, I was losing my mind trying to find one that would do a good job!! They are all rock hard when you take them out of the freezer, you have to wait half an hour for them to thaw so you can actually use them, they're never the right size, they normally don't have straps to wrap around the ice bag, so they're hard to keep on, traditional ice packs just don't lay against the whole area you're trying to ice because they're rigid plastic, and THEY'RE NOT FLEXIBLE NOR MALLEABLE. I always put a kitchen towel between my knee and the ice pack, and it ends up being the perfect temperature. Honestly, this ice bag is life-changing! I fill it 2/3 of the way with ice and the rest of the way with cold water. it is ready to use immediately, the fabric is nice and flexible, and the wraparound strap keeps it from falling off. Not exactly sure why people would want to walk around with an ice bag on their leg but whatever...I think it's too heavy to be used for that anyway. It stays cold for all 20 minutes I need to use it, and if I want to ice the back of my leg, I would just reposition the bag. I can't believe it took me 3 weeks to find this thing. So happy!

The strap with hook and loop closure is strong and holds the bag in place. It has a secure lock system so no leakage. You can also put hot water in the bag to get a heat treatment. Wow, its large and convenient. Its hands free and even fits plus size people. Now where can you find a bag that will do all that? Especially the heat treatment. That's a very big plus with this bag.
