The budget-friendly Strider Classic comes equipped with our no-flat tires, ready to take any punishment that your little renegade can dole out. The lightweight, steel frame was specifically constructed for child-level durability (that?s the highest level of durability BTW). Clocking in with a seat height range of 28-40 cm (11-16 in.), it also has the lowest seat height of any balance bike on the market, comfortably fitting an inseam of 30-43 cm (12-17 in.). Why? Because those little legs need to perfectly fit the bike they?re riding to build up confidence. The Strider Classic is a great choice for those that want to jump in the pool but aren?t quite ready to cannonball. We bought this balance bike for my son when he was 18 months. At first he just walked around with it and eventually he was sitting on the seat and cruising. He really picked it up by 2 and by 3 he was pedaling a peddle bike! Now he's riding his pw50 dirt bike with NO training wheels and he's only 3. I seriously have to give SO much credit to his strider bike for that. Such a great investment! :)

Excellent for a rough and tumble BOY!
My son was very interested in his older sister's bike, so we gave him a Strider when he was 18 months old. He began walking the bike immediately. Over time he got faster and by 3 years old he was able to build up enough speed to pick up his feet, glide, and balance. He is 4 years old now and riding a regular bike. Over the time we had it, the tires never wore out despite him using it daily. He dropped it, scraped it along the ground, and the bike was even run over by the car (Oops!) and it held up to all the abuse. Even though he is on a regular pedal bike now, he still likes to pull out his Strider and cruise down the street. We just bought another Strider for my niece. We could have passed our Strider down to her, but my son doesn't want to let go of it yet. :-)
