Montara Handleset with Juno Knob - 553 Series - Complete Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Montara Handleset when I had my front door replaced this past summer. It looks and works great, and love the SmartKey feature. I've installed Kwickset SmartKey locks on three entry doors, both handle and dead bolt, and on two utility doors in the garage. I did have an issue with re-keying the handleset cylinder though. Initial unsuccessful re-keying was performed by the door installer. The replacement handleset from Home Depot would also not re-key. Kwitckset send me a replacement cylinder that was easy to replace and worked properly, without the hassle and extra time of sending in the receipt. Although it would have been great if the original cylinder had worked properly, the great customer support has made me a loyal customer.

This is the only lock of this type that I found I can lock from inside and close the door while going out. Specially need when my kids goes out to play and I don't want them to take the keys. Also, amazing customer service. These guys are great in understanding what's wrong and finding ways to help you. I had asked for one part which they sent right away but I kind of messed another part while taking it apart. Was reluctant to call about that but they were very professional and were actually happy to help.
