Kwikset 802An-Lip Signature Series Arlington Dummy Handleset - Nickel

We bought a double cylinder Arlington handset for our French front door in 2007. Living in Florida and near the ocean are hard on metals with salt air punishing even the hardest metals. About every three years, the handsets began to show signs of corrosion. Called Kwikset with the original sales receipt information and they replaced the complete set, including new lock cylinders, without question. Have had to do that three times, each time sending them a photo and receiving new complete sets. Polished brass may not be the best choice for salt air but they look darned nice on our doors. Moreover, we are most impressed with the quality of Kwikset products as well as their standing behind the product. Lifetime guarantee. They really do mean it!

I bought this handset and lock combo about seven years ago. Recently the exterior thumb latch was a little hard to use to open. I sent a picture to Baldwin and explained what was happening and the next thing you know, a new set shows up on my door. I switched it out and rekey it in about 15 min with Smart key system. I also love the the feel of the solid steel parts. Baldwin really backs up their waranty. I'm only buying Baldwin locks with the Smart key system from now on!!
