I really liked how simple it was to take the Stomp-Rocket pieces out of the box and for a 6 year old be able to use it right away. The "launch" of the rockets was fun for the kids and really went up high, which of course the kids really enjoyed . Another feature that was not likely part of the hype for this toy was that even if the weather outside was rainy or cold, it could still be used in the house by aiming it slightly off center. The spongy material at the tip of the rocket was not harmful or destructive to the targets it hit. That being said, I would not want more that one child (who lived there or was at a relative's home) or perhaps 1 friend using the stomp rocket together because it may be too easy for kids who are already bored by being in the house rather than outside to become " over-stimulated." There are are other colors and features of packages of just the rockets that can be purchased separately, minimizing the number of "rockets" that land on the roof of the house or get lost. Additionally, this activity is reasonably priced, easy and fun to use, and safe enough that it is a great present for kids going to a cousin's or friend's birthday party--it will be a "hit" and will not create anger or annoyance on the part of the parents whose child receives it as a gift from your household!!!
