I have Multiple Sclerosis and my Dad has bad arthritis, so grasping a regular can opener is a task. This one is so easy to use. Set it on, start turning...that simple. Once it's around, use the little gripper on the side to pop off the top. No more straining to hold a can opener, no more sharp edges, no more wasting any food in the can because of a lip, and no more torn spatulas! Very pleased and wish I bought one sooner. Even if you don't have hand issues, I recommend this can opener.

No Sharp Edges - Easy Hand Crank Can Opener.... Wow, I just ordered my Starfrit Crimax Auto Can Opener and I am very impressed so far. I prefer a hand crank over an electric can opener to help keep my hands nimble. I had trouble at first, getting it lined up properly. Once I figured it out, this can opener worked like a breeze. I am even more impressed as it left zero sharp edges on the lid and can. Wow! It did as advertised. Furthermore, this hand crank can opener is hefty and built real well. I'm totally impressed and now look forward to any can I need to open. I highly recommend this can opener. Would make great for those who RV, Camp or simply travel a lot too. I would definitely give this as a gift as well... yea its that nice.

My apologies. I wrote a review a while back and slammed the product… The last step is what I missed to pop the lid off… Rhis works amazingly well. Highly recommend!!!
