We needed only the thermos topper, but it was not much more to buy a whole new thermos. the topper does its job well so far, but we need to be aware, that the topper after a few years, maybe even a decade :) just starts to get brittle and disinegrate, getting little plastic pieces in your liquid.

For the price it's 100% worth it. Everyone compares it to the original, let's be honest... Nothing compares to the original, but this is still an amazing product and does a fantastic job keeping my coffee safe and hot on the construction sites. The Durability and sturdiness is surprisingly excellent for the price! My only fear is that the Stanley sticker on it might fall off one day. Just joking. One look at this beauty and everyone knows it's "The Stanley" .

The last one lasted me 16 years...It probably would go another 16 but I retired. He rests on the shelf and goes fishing occassionally. Stanley replaced one for me because the handle broke. I e-mailed them asking if I could get parts and I would fix it myself, and they just sent me a new one. This one was a christmas gift for my son in law. I hope he has the luck with his that I did with mine...
