This was a great find. We have four cats...two are quite large ...13 pounds. Not fat...just big. I love how easy it was to place them into the carrier. Just open the door, place the cat inside and snap the folding door shut. Very sturdy. They have room that makes them feel a bit better I think. It was so much easier for the Vet to get the cat out also. I received lots of compliments on it and told them where I found it. When you are not using it...it just folds flat. I just kept the box it came in and store it in that. Well worth the little bit of more money than the front door kind. Would highly recommend.

This is a terrific design- easy storage and the main aspect is being able to retrieve your pet from the carrier. If you ever tried to pull out your feline-independent thinking cat from a traditional pet carrier it is almost impossible, especially when they don't want to leave the confines of their carrier. This carrier allows one to pick up the independent thinking cat straight in to an owner's or Vet's arms. Easy to return your much loved fur ball into this carrier. It is easy to clean and folds up for very easy storage. I am buying more for all our four legged loves. This carrier is less stressful for our cat people. To introduce these carriers to our animals we just left them open and they found their way in/out very easily. A pea pad and their favorite blanket made it home. All our four legged fur balls seem very comfortable until entering a vet office where it was easy to remove even the most reluctant fur ball. We had no escapees due to the design. No struggle!
