Skullcandy Jib True XT 2 True Wireless Earbuds, Light Gray

I got the Skullcandy Jib True XT 2 True Wireless Earbuds, Bluetooth 5.0, 22+ Hours of Battery, Tileu2122, IPX4 Rating, Black. These were my first pair of wireless earbuds and so far I’m loving them! They were easy to connect to my phone. The sound quality is good. They have a really strong bass which I like for certain genres. I like that they can be used solo. They fit really well in my ears and they look really sleek and stylish. I like the noise canceling design. I don’t have to worry about people hearing what I’m listening to. The water-resistant feature is great. I’m able to chase my kids around the playground with these on without them falling out. I also use them when I’m cleaning and they stay secure. The charging case is convenient and aesthetically pleasing. I’ve used them off and on for a week now and have not had to charge them! I do have to be somewhat near my phone or it disconnects, which I sometimes forget and do wish there was a quicker easier way to quickly pause the music other than pressing the button. Overall, very good basic wireless earbuds for the price, very pleased.

So as the title says, I don't normally use buds, just because I don't like the feeling in my ear. I prefer headphones. However, I cannot fall asleep without listening to music in my ears (blame anxiety and ptsd) and the headphones are uncomfortable for side sleeping so I wanted to give the buds a chance. This is a newbie perspective on using earbuds! I'm not a audiophile or anything. Here goes: They are INCREDIBLY easy to connect to the Bluetooth on my phone. It was as easy as 1, 2,3! The charging case is super sturdy. I held it upside down and shook it violently to see if it would open, and it did not! So i know that my clumsy self won't accidentally drop the buds out of the case. It comes with 3 different sized ear tips, i ended up using the smallest ones just because that felt the least uncomfortable in my ear. Not to say that it hurt, it's just, I'm not comfortable with earbuds just yet. It definitely takes a bit to get used to the feeling of something in your ear. I wore them while doing dishes and cleaning the house for an hour and although i constantly felt like they were about to fall out, they didn't! So that was a great plus! I'm not too familiar with the controls yet, so I can't speak on them. The only downside is the charging cable length. It is ridiculously short. All in all, I definitely recommend these buds and unless my teen steals them from me (you know kids) I'll definitely get some great uses out of them.
