I've used ZeroWater filters for several years. I have one pitcher on the counter for room temperature water for making coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, and a larger dispenser in the refrigerator for cold drinking water. my hands are weak these days, so it's harder to unscrew the old filter, but I keep a large wrench in a drawer to help me.

Really Cleans the Water, Free Tester

I love these filters; they are so much more sturdier and a better design that the Brita. It has its own plastic cover that screws in underneath, and you don't have to prep it by running water through it; it comes pre- watered so you can use right away. What I really love about the zero water pitcher is that is comes with a digital water tester (super easy) so I also tested the Brita and it was really high in contaminants but it was time to change it 384 is a high score, zero water filter, at first it was 20 but I hadn't tightened it enough, and I tested the water again and it was 2, and tightened again and it was 0 finally. I also tested the great value water and it was around 30. Anyway , this is the best pitcher water filter. The replacements cartridges are a little more, but worth it.

I have been using this for about 2 years. Can definitely taste the difference for my drinking water. Compared this with others available and found this the most complete filtering, even of PFAS. I live in apartment so cannot install reverse osmosis. Very easy to change filter. I recommend.
