Shark Rotator Professional Lift-Away Upright Vacuum, Pet Friendly, HEPA Filter, Swivel Steering, NV501 White/Red

I have used my daughter's Dyson. I prefer the Shark Rotator. I don't think the Dyson cleans any better than the Shark, but I could buy 2 Sharks for the price of 1 Dyson (& still hae money left over). I live in the country & have quite a bit of sand in my yard & driveway. The Shark picks it up very easily & if you have tried to vacuum up sand off a hardwood floor, you know it is no easy task. I have only had the Shark a few weeks, but I love it. BUY IT-DO NOT BUY ONE OF THE CHEAP VACUUMS-THEY WILL NOT LAST & YOU WILL STILL HAVE TO REPLACE IT VERY SOON. & THEY DO NOT CLEAN VERY GOOD. This has been one of my best purchases. Should have bought it sooner.

Being a subscriber of Consumer Reports and needing a new sweeper, I reviewed and compared the "best" for the money! Shark Rotator Lift Away Professional Bagless Upright Vacuum, NV501 was rated the highest. My previous sweeper was a canister, and everyone in the house knew by the noise that I was sweeping, but not so with the bagless one - just a slight humming. I considered myself a clean housekeeper, until I swept two rooms - one tile and one hardwood with area rug. The canister was filled with 2" of dust balls and hair. The ease of dumping was just a quick release with one click.
