Shark ION Robot Vacuum RV772

I loved this product when I first got it. I was so impressed how it went under the sofa and picked up everything from socks to pencils and pens. I had this for years and then lost the roller some how. I think someone threw it away while I was drying it or baby got it. I had to order a whole new set up because the roller was discontinued and updated which included a wire wrapped around it which stopped it from picking up everything and I hated it. So disappointed they changed what wasn't broken. The whole point of this was to get the stuff out from under the sofa so I didn't have to move my sofa evwrytime and vacuum. I got the roomba and it doesn't even go under furniture or through a sheet hung up in doorway of hallway to keep ac in living room better. I have to pull the sheet to the side while vacuuming which defeats the purpose of putting a sheet up. I want to come back to shark but I may just cut the wire off the brush sections so it will go back to licking up everything. I had my last one for 6 years and gave to my daughter.

I purchased this item to help manage the dog hair in my house. I have a Pug mix, and they shed a lot. So far, I'm impressed. Does the Shark ION clean like my upright vacuum? No—but I wouldn't expect it to. When run on a schedule through the app, the ION helps keep the hair under control. It fits under most of my furniture and lets me welcome drop-in company without worrying about all the “glitter” on my floors. I would highly recommend this as a supplemental cleaning device, not a replacement for a more powerful vacuum.
