Great foldable sewing table
I gave this sewing table to my mom because she does occasional sewing as a hobby. According to manufacturer, the Sewingrite crafts foldable hobby sewing table weighs about 30 pounds, which is not light especially for women, but it does have built in wheels on one sides that once the table is folded it can be rolled around without lifting. The table is about 20 inches deep by 40 inches wide and 28.5 inches tall. Sewingrite did a nice job of printing a measuring tape on top of the table surface which can save some time when you need to measure things. Once you remove the sewing machine, the table can be used as a cutting and design surface for fabric. Another great feature of the sewing machine is the adjustable height rack because it allows the person sewing to adjust according to their height and preference. Many other sewing machines come with pre-set height which can make it difficult for people if they're shorter or taller than the machine was made for. When this sewing table is collapsed it can be stored under a bed or other similar places because it is only 4 and half inches high. Sewingrite incorporated a small adjustable circular leveler under the legs in case the floor surface is uneven, the table can still be sturdy. The table top surface is made of plastic while majority of other parts are metal.
Sturdy, Flexible and Stores Away!
I ordered the Sewingrite Crafts Foldable Hobby Sewing Table because I live in a fairly small 2 bedroom home, yet I still want to be able to craft and sew when necessary. This table has so much going for it! First of all it shipped to me fully assembled and perfectly packed, so the table was flawless on arrival. Second, the legs are folded over each other on the table's underside and held in place with a Velcro strap. Third, there are wheels attached to one end so you can simply roll it from where it is stored to the area it will be used! Fourth, the drop down area of the table has an adjustable lever that allows you to place it in the exact position so that your sewing machine is perfectly flush with the table top. Finally, the built-in yard stick on the top is perfect for when you have to cut fabric or check a seam allowance, etc. This is a must have for hobbyists with limited space!
Nice and easy
This table is great. It's easy to put up and easy to take down. You can drop your machine into it and leave it up if you have the space, if not it comes back down and is tucked away in a mi Ute. It is sturdy and does t wobble at all. Plenty of space to work on as well.
