I've tried other more "natural" type aluminum free deordorants and so far, this is the only one that works for me. I normally use a clinical strength deodorant (since most deodorants aren't strong enough) so switching to this was a bit scary but I'm really glad I did. I didn't feel that I really had to go thru a "detoxing" phase as others have said they did. I just quit the other kind cold turkey and this stuff kicked right in the first day. I apply it in the morning and the fresh scent sticks with me all day and thru the evening hours, even after sweating heavily so when they say it lasts, they really mean it. (NOTE: The scent was a little strong for me at first but once I got used to it, it doesn't bother me at all). I do notice that the scent does change a little as the day goes on; i don't smell bad (no BO smell at all) but the scent ends up being a bit more flowery than tropical like when you first apply it, must just mix with my body's scent I guess. It goes on really smoothly and doesn't leave too much residue and doesn't get flaky. It's not completely natural so if you are looking for a 100% natural deodorant, this is not it. I do appreciate that it doesn't have alumnium or talc, though. The only small complaint I have is that when I work out or it's really humid out, and I get really sweaty, i do perspire, and feel a bit wet under my arms but I just have to remember this is NOT an anti perspirant, just a deodorant. This stuff does kick in some and the wetness seems to evaporate (maybe because of the corn starch and petrolatum) in a little bit, but for heavy sweaters, you may have some small wet spots under your arms if you are wearing a tighter form fitting shirt so you might want to plan for that. All in all, I am very pleased with this deodorant and will continue using it.
