SAFAVIEH New Orleans Darius Solid Polyester Shag Area Rug, Beige, 2' x 3'

The rug looks and feels amazing under your feet, it really complimented my rooms and made all the furniture and colors come together. I am really glad I made this purchase. Originally it said that this will not be delivered until Nov 10th but i got this delivered on 10/25.

My 6 y.o. son has a Star Wars bedroom with black curtains, black knobs/pulls on his furniture, black backings to the bookcases, a SW comforter with blue/black/gray/orange/white and I had a black shag rug in his room. Trying to keep a black rug clean is disastrous and there is more to life than vacuuming. I decided to get this rug and was a little hesitant because you never know how different things will be in person... This rug is AMAZING!!! It is elegant, it is simple, it is stunning, it is anything you want it to be. We live on a ranch and although I'm not over-the-top with my ""farmhouse decór,"" there are wood floors throughout the house and this rug in no way stands out as too modern or flashy. I could easily see this being used in a modern/eclectic vibe, or as a neutral for a farmhouse living room. It is extremely versatile. The rug requires no pad, in my opinion, as the pile is very plush and lofty. This is in a bedroom, so it's not subjected to a lot of floor use as a living room rug would be though. The rug sheds a small bit here and there, but no more than the occasional thread from my other shag rug. It feels like silk under your feet and my kids ""skate"" across it. My husband is jealous and wants one for our bedroom now, and he is not the type to have any regard whatsoever for decorating - so for him to say something about it is high praise!!! Another thing I love - you get absolutely NO vacuum lines when you vacuum this. I guess this could be a blessing or a curse, depending on your preference, but I love it. I'm sure I will vacuum up plenty of hidden Legos and nerf darts that aren't even visible, but this does an excellent job of disguising any dirt - and the small toys - from sight. A huge plus, in my opinion. This blends beautifully with my son's room and could transition fabulously with any future decór that would require anything within the black-gray-white spectrum to be tied together. And it arrived within 2 days!!!
