Beautiful. But beware!

First of all I want to say how beautiful this rug is. The pattern is great! Hence why I bought it. And I will say it is very soft under foot. However, from the second I started unrolling it I was getting a lot of dirt everywhere. I've purchased jute rugs before and never experienced this type of dirt right off the bat. Along with dirt, it sheds a lot. And I mean a lot. Also, there were three places where the rug was unraveling as soon as I laid it out that I had to weave back down myself. I cleaned the rug and spent 2 hours trying to minimize the shedding and weave pieces back in. Seriously wondering if I got a used rug? I don't know. I'm so so sad. I wanted to love this rug. But now I'm stuck with a dirty shedding mess.
