Beautiful expensive but not practical!

It is a beautiful thick shag rug. Perfect if you want something really thick and cozy. The color is beautiful light tone with charcoal design, perfect farmhouse look! But I don't like it because of its fringes. It has been a few months since I am using it and all the fringes opened up and I had to hand stitch each one of the fringe but they don't look as beautiful and neat as the original one. And the other thing is the light color of fringe, fringes got dirty regarding of a gentle use. The last thing is the cleaning part. Since it is a shag rug and the fur is pretty thick and long everything seeps inside the fur and you really need to take care of it how you use it. Even my vacuum cleaner gets stuck in it so that's tricky part to use a vaccum on this rug. I am stuck with this rug which is pretty expensive but not very practical for an everyday use. So I would not recommend this rug specially if you have kids and if you are buying it for your everyday living area.
