We use glass containers daily, but for giving guests extra to take home these are great. They were my go to containers to take lunch to work when I worked in an office. I would not recommend them for heating food in a microwave, but great for sandwiches or snacks. Great value.

These food containers work well for their intended purpose. Personally, I prefer using glass containers for heating food, but with my 13-year-old who often forgets to bring back my nice containers-these are a great alternative. If he doesn't return them, it's no big deal because they're affordable and get the job done. The lids lock securely, though they can leak occasionally if they aren't laid completely flat. We also use these to send leftovers home with friends and family, and if the containers don't make their way back, there are no hard feelings. They're convenient , practical, and perfect for situations where you don't want to worry about losing a container. Also, my dad use to use them for storing his screws and misc little tools.
