I like this version of the mount for the Roto Pax because I do a lot of town and city riding with my dual sport. I have hade on in the past stolen or liberated from my motorcycle, this added the added security my driving style needs to protect the tank from those who are looking for an easy opportunity to take it.

I really wasn't big on these at first but I saw a few at a show and I just installed a Poison Spyder tire carrier which uses these for fuel or water carrying. So I bought 2 of the locking models. And I was very surprised at how tough and solid the mounts are I do wish the bracket was a slight bit thicker and tougher but even as thin as it is I don' see them breaking without breaking the container on them. I am very happy with the choice to switch to these. I do recommend the locking over the non locking version. -m-2015 POLARIS RANGER RZR XP 1000 DESERT Edit.--

If you invest in the can, make sure it doesn't walk off.

The 2 gallon can along with the locking mount make a trip into the middle of nowhere perfectly feasible now. For most of our riding this is just an insurance policy really, but definitely heavy duty and a nice to have whether we mount it to the trailer or the SxS for the trip. -m-2017 HONDA Pioneer 500--
