Good for fitness

I skate 6 times per week for an hour, for fitness, out doors. So far these skates are holding up well. Before the Aerio Q-90 inline skates I had the pro line 900 also made by Roller Derby corp,they lasted me 9 months with replacing the wheels one time. The Aerio Q-90 cost a little more and are worth it in my opinion, larger wheels, smoother/faster ride, better bearings, and aluminum frame. Depending on use I would suggest rotating wheels to get longer use of them. As for fit I wear a size 7 womens shoe and ordered a six and they fit good, no blisters. Over all I would say for price they are a good choice and value when you look at other inline skates that have the same wheel size frame make and bearings. I like them so much I have ordered them in the mens for my husband.

Exceptional Advanced Skates at a bargain price!

At first I had tried "Roller Derby Skate Corp Pro Line 900 Inline Women's Skates" and despite the higher rated bearings it turned out to be an uncomfortable beginner style skate that rolled too slowly, forced your calves to lean forward, ankle was too high, casing around the foot too constricting and the brake was set so low you scraped it too easily. This AERIO q-90 skate is top of the line! It glides smoothly, the "boot" laces around your foot comfortably like a shoe (rather than a hard casing like the first pair I tried) and the ankle height is not too high. The only complaint I have, and reason I rated it a 4 on expectations, is the insole is CHEAP, thin and worthless. The redeeming thing about this though is it's an EASY fix, just pop in some Dr. Scholl's gel inserts and you are GOLDEN! Hope this helps! I highly recommend this skate!

Great skate except...

I'm an avid skater, have been doing it for nearly 20 years and these skates are the best, fastest, smoothest I've come across yet (I have yet to embark on the $200 skates). HOWEVER, during the 1st week I owned them a screw apparently came loose on the bottom and the entire wheel base came off! unfixable, so I am returning them & have already reordered another pair...i'll repost if the other pair does the same thing =)
